If the price seems a bit too high on a shirt or item, It may be the type of Product.. not the item itself. Just try changing the shirt or item style. It will save you some money unless you need a specific style. Value t-shirts should give you the best reasonable price. I believe you understand the concept now so I will let you figure out the rest.
